Parenting with confidence, every parent can do it!
Hi!
I'm Melissa Clemmensen
Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. As a parent of 2 children who are drastically different, I have a pretty good understanding of how overwhelming trying to raise a family can be. I started Powerful Parents Coaching Services because when you help a parent, you can help a family. It's difficult to start helping a family when the expectations put on parents are overwhelming and often physically unachievable. Parents are always in a state of stress and confusion. My greatest joy is connecting with other parents and letting them know that it's okay and I am here to help. Parents put their family's needs well above their own and I want you to have a safe, non-judgmental space where your needs are put first and you find confidence in the decisions you make.
I have spent my career filling my parenting tool box with a variety of parenting styles & different techniques to deal with a variety of situations. This approach to parent coaching allows me to customize each session to meet your specific needs.
I want you to let your imagination just wonder around when you're parenting and ask yourself, what would I like to do differently?
If you don't know how to change, or just don't have the confidence to trust yourself, I'm here to help you find the confident parent I know you really are.

When I'm not transforming people's lives, I spend most of my downtime with my family enjoying a variety of outdoor activities like camping, kayaking, hiking and swimming. When I take a break from family, I have such rewarding experiences volunteering with Girl Guides or helping on my children's sports teams. You can also find me lost in my current book, or reviewing the latest parenting hacks. Balancing all of this can be tricky, but I think it allows me to perform at my best in all aspects of my life. Work, family and myself, because being a parent doesn't mean you do not matter anymore.
